Telugu super news, April 4th,2024:Virgin Atlantic signals its continued commitment to India this week as its new daily service to Bengaluru touched down and the airline also announced a second daily flight to Mumbai taking to the skies in October 2024.
The new flight to Mumbai will be the airline’s fifth daily service to India and from 2025, Virgin Atlantic will offer over one million seats to the country, a 350% capacity growth since 2019, cementing India’s position as a key strategic market for the airline and marking its largest area of growth outside the United States.Alongsidecustomer flying, the increase is also a huge boost for cargo operations with additional capacity to support the movement of goods from the fashion, pharmaceuticals, and tech sectors. With five daily services, Virgin Atlantic Cargo will offer over 40 million kg of space to and from India, a 336% increase in capacity versus 2019.
To celebrate the new services, Virgin Atlantic CEO, Shai Weiss touched down in Bengaluru meeting with partners and customers while experiencing the bustling city for himself. (Star Health Insurance), India’s largest retail health insurance Company, to offer customers health insurance with a monthly and annual payment option. With this partnership, PhonePe users will now be able to avail of ‘Star Comprehensive Insurance Policy’ on the PhonePe app with coverage up to Rs.1 Crore. Having previously disrupted the market with its motor insurance products, with this launch, PhonePe further expands the options available to its users in the health insurance category.
Through this partnership, for the first time, Star Health Insurance’s Comprehensive Health Insurance will be offered to customers with a monthly premium payment plan, pioneered by PhonePe – a first-of-its-kind initiative in the industry. Users can also opt to pay their premium with the UPI AutoPay mandate and enjoy added convenience. This move was driven by a critical insight that smaller monthly payments ease the financial burden for users while empowering and enabling them to opt for more extensive insurance coverage without stretching their finances.
Star Comprehensive Insurance Policy is a power-packed insurance plan with benefits including the most popular OPD and maternity coverage. Market research conducted with PhonePe’s user base indicates that these two features were the most preferred by customers while buying health insurance. Star Comprehensive Health Insurance Policy is an end-to-end health insurance policy with sum insured available up to Rs.1 crore. Once they opt for the policy, the customer’s have to fill in their details, such as name, age, and gender, followed by the health history of all members to be insured. This will be followed by a regulator mandated Know Your Customer (KYC) form and declarations, once the payment is completed.

Telugu super news,India, march 21, 2024:The Minister for Tertiary Education and Skills, Hon Penny Simmonds, released international student enrolment data for the first eight months of 2023. From January to August 2023 there were 59,306 international student enrolments* with New Zealand education providers, a 43% increase compared to the full year in 2022.
Minister Simmonds said, “Over 59,000 enrolments, in just eight months, confirms that international students continue to find New Zealand an attractive education destination. And for the university sector with 27,535 students enrolled, where a proportion of learners may study for a number of years, there is a solid base of students from which to grow.”
International student enrolments have grown in all subsectors except wānanga. Comparing 2023 to 2022, English Language Schools have seen the greatest percentage increase in international enrolments, increasing by 347% from 1,565 to 7,001. Schools reported a 114% increase from 5,925 to 12,662. Te
Pūkenga, a 32% increase from 4,955 to 6,560. Universities, a 15% increase from 24,040 to 27,535 and
Private Training Establishments (funded and unfunded), a 13% increase from 5,000 to 5,671.
Universities and schools remained New Zealand’s two largest subsectors for international students.
As with all New Zealand’s competitors, China is the largest source market for international students. In the reporting period, China was 36% of enrolments, with India (10%), Japan (10%), South Korea (5%), and Thailand (4%) in the top five.
Minister Simmonds said, “It is a Government priority to diversify our recruitment efforts for international
students with the aim of reaching a broader spectrum of countries.”
